GMP Pharmaceutical Standards
All our products are manufactured in pharmaceutical plants following strict pharmaceutical standards.
GMP – “Good Manufacturing Practices” is a set of standards that apply to a wide variety of manufacturing operations. The GMP Pharmaceutical Standards are among the most strict standards in the world.
It is rare (almost unheard of) for nutritional supplements to be manufactured to these standards – because the cost is significant.
(To illustrate, in the midst of the recent pandemic Canada decided it needed a domestic capability to manufacture vaccines. The government identified a plant in January 2021 in Montreal that could be used for that purpose. The hope was that manufacturing could possibly start in a June time frame. In the Spring, there was a realization that the plant could not produce any vaccine before a major re-design and fresh construction. This was to meet GMP Pharmaceutical standards. The target date for completion of the re-designed plant was some time in the Fall and would add MANY millions of dollars to construction costs. GMP Pharmaceutical standards are a big deal — and are expensive.)
BSCG Testing
Every batch of every nutritional product is independently tested for banned substances by the Banned Substance Control Group. This is particularly important for Olympic and professional athletes.
But it also ensures a higher level of confidence in our products by everyone who consumes them.
Halal Certified
Most Max nutritional products are Halal certified to support a wide variety of dietary restrictions.
Health Canada Certification
Health Canada has a reputation world-wide for being very strict when it comes to nutritional supplements. Health Canada certified our products, not just attesting to the safety of the products –
but more importantly certifying the effects we claim for each one!
This is almost unheard of in the nutritional supplement business!!
In the case of RiboCeine, Health Canada certified that it “raises glutathione levels in the body.” Furthermore, the license for MaxOne asserted no contra-indications and no known adverse effects.
